Rambo has nothing on me.

Sony needs some new PR people. Everything they say comes out either insulting or just plain sounds dumb.

About UMDs (a failed movie disc medium): "I think you'll find in general the market for movies on discs of any type is not particularly great at the moment."

Or about purchasing a XBox360 + Wii for price of PS3: "To be honest, I haven't heard that."

I control the news.

Newt Gingrich's defense of the recent page scandal: The Democrats have done far worse.

Unfortunately, Gingrich, the morality of our politicians is bankrupt. Too much money and too much power has shriveled their ability to differentiate from doing the right thing and committing wrong.

Every Republican and every Democrat should be behind the effort to prosecute Representative Foley to the fullest extent of the law.

To protect the interest of a party, to keep control of power, our representatives are willing to hide the facts and or endlessly debate the extent of punishment. I have an answer for them: the punishment for a politician should be the same punishment delivered to a common US citizen. Anyone trying to withold/hide evidence to protect the party, should be prosecuted for withholding evidence.

So, Newt, your defense isn't a defense. It lessens yourself, and it lessens your party. Show me you can cut away those who do illegal activities. Don't defend their actions, in hopes of saving a few votes come election time, because, frankly, it doesn't work.

Ruling the world is not an easy job.

Laura Malloy is once again arguing to the Courts with the purpose of proving the Harry Potter books seek to convert young minds to the Wiccan religion and cause violence. In place of these books, she suggests children read the Bible.

School shootings, says Laura, will continue until all the evil books have been banned from school libraries.

Of course, she forgets the Bible is one of the bloodiest books in existence and many Bible thumpers have been killers as well.

I am a guitar hero.

As more time passes, Americans are becoming increasingly convinced we fought in the wrong country. Iraq, years after we've learned they had no WMD nor any capability to make them for several years into the future, is taking up our time and destroying our troops lives.

And then, one sees Iran, a country with an alarming president, is beginning the process of enriching uranium. Should they succeed, the only outcome I forsee is two dead pieces of land and a rush to contain the radiation fallout from spreading. Israel has already promised swift action should they come to the conclusion Iran is enriching uranium for military purposes.

Although Iran has been in the news often, the US has not forgotten about North Korea who has issued a statement they are preparing to test nuclear warheads. In fact, we sent a stark message to N. Korea today: "It can have a future or it can have these weapons. It cannot have both." Indeed, these are strong words, but one wonders whether we can carry a stick to back those words. Once, we spoke softly and carried a big stick. Today, it seems we bellow and beat our chests, but have in our hands a small twig.

Despite promises of lessening the threat of terrorism, recent reports by the UN and US intelligence says the opposite is true. Our military forces have failed to capture Osama, and, although they captured Saddam, have been unable to get Iraq into the stability the citizens enjoyed underneath their tyrant's heel. To keep military number up and steady, the government has been forced to "recruit" former soldiers who's years of service had ended or by extending current soldiers terms. Fighting another war, expecially one America lost all those years ago, doesn't look viable.

Don't die.
