I know how to make the Devil cry.

This is going to be a bit different of a musical selection for me: Electronica/Dance. Yes. There are a few bands in this genre worth listening to, even for those, like me, who mostly detest dance music.

So, let's get to them:

LCD Soundsystem - Brilliant. It starts off with a bang on "Daft Punk is Playing at My House" and ends with one of my favorite dance songs ever: "Yr City's a Sucker." They are not you normal dance group, and that's probably why I like them above all the others on this list.

The Prodigy - If it wasn't for the song, "Smack my Bitch Up," I'd say this group hasn't put out a song I've disliked. Unfortunately, they released the above mentioned song. Oddly enough, the song is many people's favorite's, and I get requests from friends to play it often. Consequently, I have deleted the song from my iPod and force them to request another, better, Prodigy song.

Depeche Mode - They're an odd bunch of guys, but what can you expect from a group which got its start in the '80s. When you hear "Personal Jesus" sung by Marilyn Manson, and blanch at its terribleness, you have Depeche Mode to thank - "Person Jesus" seems to be one of the most favorite cover songs ever and almost all of them suck, except for Depeche Mode's original.

Fatboy Slim - I have to admit, I hadn't heard much by them until Christopher Walken danced his goofy-ass dance in the video for "Weapon of Choice." If you've never seen it, then you're missing out. Unfortunately, the also have one of my most hated songs of all time "The Rockafeller Skank" which you can check out in the movie "She's All That."

M83 - I don't really know why I like this band, but I do. "Dead Seas, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts" is a mesmerizing album. And its weird. Maybe, just maybe, that could be why I like the darned thing so much.

That's it for today.

Don't die.

You should get frequent flyer miles every time you jump.

I get annoyed with politicians. Expecially, when they make statements like "Imagine if we could have done that before 9/11. It might have been a different outcome." This, was said in a recent speech by Karl Rove lambasting Judge Taylor's decision on the NSA's wiretaps.

He offers no facts, only suppositions. Frankly, I'm sick of it. Everyone in support of the illegal wiretaps needs to wake up and realize they have done a great disservice to our country.

Don't die.

Boredom is a terrible, terrible fate.

So, I just recently decided to watch a Paris Hilton music video. I hadn't heard anything by her, and frankly, I wanted to see if it was "so good that I cry" material. Well, low and behold, it isn't and I couldn't even get through the video. At least with a Jessica Simpson video you can mute the sound and still fully enjoy yourself. Oh, well.
