The Wiz was just a terrible, terrible name.

According to a recent Court hearing in California, Bloggers have the same right to protect their confidential sources as any other journalist who writes for more traditional media.

Woot for the justice system!

When I was a kid, I watched scary movies to give myself nightmares.

The game industry hates used game sales--absolutely detests them. Why? Because they don't see a single dime from the sale of a used game.

There's a rumor floating about that Sony is attempting to sell licenses to games, rather than the game itself. It isn't true (at least not yet), as its feasibility is fairly low.

Although I see some problem with the used game industry (for example, as Tim points out, some used dealers will sale used video games for only 3-5 dollars off the sticker price), licensing games will destroy my chances of finding a game like Breath of Fire IV, which was a limited release Playstation game.

Truthfully, I think the entire argument is moot anyways. Sony is self-destructing. They want $600 for their console and then they want $60 a game - frankly their blood is too rich for mine.

Oh, how I loathe you, you Kripy Kreme doughnuts of gooey goodness.

The Congress has passed a funeral protest ban. Although I agree with Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist on his sentiments that a funeral of fallen soldiers should be a "solemn, private and deeply sacred occasion," I disagree that we need a law banning protests. Such laws begin to travel down the slippery slope of banning protests near any place or event which Congressmen believe to be solemn, private, or sacred occasions.

I've never anything important to say.

There is at least one cat in this world I wouldn't kill on a whim. Check out the Guitar Hero cat here.

The killer klown mobile is bright yellow... but don't let that fool you, it doesn't bring bananas.

If you were one of the consumers who bought a Sony CD loaded with a root-kit or MediaMax software, you've got some claiming to be doing. The EFF makes it easy for you. Just head on over to this website to get a list of infected CDs, the benefits you're eligible for, and a link to file your claim.

File the claim - show Sony and any future distributer we won't take to corporations harming our computers.

Sanity is a crutch.

Wired News has published the sealed documents submitted by Mark Klien in the lawsuit against AT&T. They have done so because Wired News "believe[s] the public's right to know the full facts in this case outweighs AT&T's claims to secrecy." So, if you're interested in what the whistle-blower is whistling about, go check out the documents before someone has them pulled down.
